a then & now of two companion pieces I made to print out at sakura con next weekend: Lillith was from about year ago (which is why it’s kinda gross looking), painted as a request from our friend Foopers. Morrigan was painted a little bit at a time over the past few months to be sold with it at the convention. Both of them were done fairly quickly by my own standards, but Morrigan especially took a long time, just because I’m slow and I have homework

So. This is an art blog after all and I feel obligated to post this WIP shot of this drawing I’ve been working on for a month. I see a lot of brilliant people posting art they do recreationally, and I don’t understand how they have time to do it. I just want to prove that I am doing something ;_;
I should finish this drawing (though I’m not sure what it will look like) in the next two weeks.
I’ll be selling these at sakuracon this year. So far these are the only copies of these buttons that exist (we ran out of supplies). That makes them more valuable, right? (Taken with instagram)
decided to try online figure drawing over heeere
it took me a while to get used to it, but I actually managed to make a good sketch on a longer pose. hooray for remembering what I learned in one of my fall classes!
also, the proportions etc, probably aren’t that good. in fact I’ll probably look at this in like an hour and think, “ohgodwhy?” but I wanted to post it just to prove that I was doing SOMETHING over break…
…I need to be more productive ._.
